Job Summary As the Embedded Design and Analysis (EDA) Engineering manager, you will lead the company’s Electrical Design and Analysis (EDA) team, serve as a point of contact for technical, budget and resource allocation issues to meet team members' needs, customer requirements and company goals.
This position's internal job code is EE Engineering Manager. Our team is currently hiring for level K.
Responsibilities You will be responsible for managing the engineering of our PCB / PCBAs. This includes staffing the team, developing team processes to improve quality, reduce design time, improve manufacturability, and maintaining a set of tools for the team to perform their work. You will coordinate with engineering teams, manufacturing, mission assurance, programs, supply chain, and other concerned parties on the development of Millennium PCB/PCBA's.
Continuously Improve our EDA development team and processes
Mentor, train, motivate, and develop EDA staff
Manage EDA team and staff including personnel reviews, tasking, and work scope
Identify, communicate, and assist in the risk management process
Assign EDA staff to programs and products and evaluate technical performance
Work with hardware engineering director to develop, evaluate, and refine technical processes and standards for the EDA team
Supporting proposal efforts to define the initial scope of the EDA team
Work with engineering teams to work through discrepancies or design modifications
Other job duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Degree in electrical, computer, or other relevant engineering
Detailed knowledge of hardware and/or software
At least 6 years developing and manufacturing electronic assemblies, or similar experience
At least 2 years as an Responsible Engineering Authority, Project Lead, Control Account Manager, or equivalent
Methodical design, testing, and troubleshooting capabilities
Must be versatile and able to perform and manage multiple tasks concurrently
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in qualifying space avionics
Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance

Summary Pay-Range
Level K: $147.050 - $216,250
