Job Summary The Electrical Ground Support Equipment Engineering Team Manager will be responsible for managing development of electrical hardware that supports development and testing of Millennium products and spacecraft. This hardware includes test equipment to support qualification and acceptance testing, hardware-in-the-loop test setups, functional testing, environmental testing, and other special equipment needs as required to meet corporate priorities. The EGSE Team Manager coordinates across the enterprise to deliver the equipment necessary to support engineering, programs, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities
Continuously improve our EGSE team processes and clearly define our EGSE development workflow
Develop tools to provide cost and schedule inputs to EGSE system development planning
Mentor, train, motivate, and develop EGSE staff
Manage EGSE team and staff including personnel reviews, tasking, and work scope
Identify, communicate, and assist in the risk management process
Assign EGSE staff to programs and products and evaluate technical performance
Maintain documentation for current products including technical, schedule, and costing information to support proposals and programs
Work with the engineering organization, business development, programs, and manufacturing to develop a product roadmap that aligns to Millennium corporate objectives
Work with hardware engineering director to develop, evaluate, and refine technical processes and standards for the EGSE team
Lead the EGSE staff to effectively partner with cross-functional teams and meet all business requirements in support of proposals, testing, configurations, compliance, and design

Minimum Qualifications
5 or more years of relevant experience
BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
Experience in developing electrical systems
Experience in software development
Hands-on experience using electrical test equipment
Work onsite to manage a team of engineers for fast paced development of test systems and equipment
Work with programs to understand staffing needs
Ability to interpret and work with internal customers to define requirements
Design system functional test block diagrams
Design automated test equipment systems for spacecraft avionics
Strong communication skills
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (More information on this process can be found by following the Mandatory Security Clearance and Access Process Disqualifying Criteria link which is listed in the job posting).
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of satellite and satellite subsystem functions
Understanding of network configuration
Certified LabVIEW Developer
Experience in product qualification testing
Experience with spacecraft environmental test, including vibration, thermal vacuum, and EMI/EMC testing.
Understanding of MRP

Summary Pay-Range
Level K: $147,050 - $216,250
