Job Summary Reporting to the VP of Manufacturing and Supply Chain, the Operations Engineer will be responsible for supporting Millennium Space Systems with an emphasis on analytics, systems requirements definition and implementing large scale initiatives to meet business objectives. This individual will have the opportunity to make a large impact to the business, by implementing new systems and strategies that impact manufacturing and supply chain as well as interfaces between teams across the business to support efficient execution. This is an exciting opportunity to build a high performing operations team and have a direct impact on the success of our organization.
This position's internal job code is Business Ops Specialist. Our team is currently hiring for level 3-4.
Responsibilities
Support business analytics and system requirement definition
Develops method to forecast headcount requirements and skillsets necessary to meet business objectives
Analyzes and summarizes data used in the development and proposal of organizational direction (e.g., budget information, workforce levels, training requirements and equipment/facility needs).
Manages trade space and justification for new system implementation, and supports implementation across teams
Supports metrics development and implementation
Partner with manufacturing and supply chain leadership team to identify, implement and propose large scale business initiatives
Refines the end to end process flow supporting business operations, partnering with cross functional teams to improve efficiency
Proposes and presents executive level briefings.
Leads the development and maintenance of the project schedule and budget; monitors and tracks execution of the plan and communicates status.
Collaborates with subject matter experts, suppliers, partners and customers to deploy broad organizational training
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a similar technical discipline (i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science etc.)
2+ years experience in data analysis and reporting to support strategic decision making
2+ years experience in executive communications and cross functional project ownership
Experience proposing and driving corporate business changes
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the aerospace industry
Thrives in a high-growth environment and adapts to evolving business needs
Experience with operational analysis including capacity analysis, gap analysis
Highly organized; able to manage complex problems with a broad scope of work across multiple disciplines
Experience with SQL and PowerBI

Summary Pay-Range
Level 3: $93,500 - $137,500
Level 4: $115,600 - $170,000
